About Me

I have taught for 19 years. I have only taught in 2 districts to date. I have taught K-3rd regular classroom but now teaching technology apps to Pk-6th, keyboarding to 7th, and webmastering to 11th and 12th graders. I am the Varsity cheer sponsor, drumline teacher sponsor, and gifted and talented teacher/district coordinator. I love educating students and watching them grow. I have a Bachelors of Arts from NorthEast Louisians and a Masters of Education from Texas A&M-Commerce. I have passed EC-12 Technology Applications Certification for the State of Texas. Along with my many jobs, I am a mother of 2 sons…one whom is an US Navy Corpsman and a 14 year typical teenager….I also have a stepson pursuing a doctorate in business psychology in Chicago. My husband of 10 years is a wonderful person who loves teaching Ag. My favorite dog is the chihuahua,  but I don’t have real good luck with them, so I have a mini dachsund named Tinker, a Chug (pug/chihuahua) named Chugs…and several cats..
